Over the past 1.5 years, we’ve listened closely to families at The Grand Green – Familux Resort. At the beginning of 2024, plans were solidified to implement what would further enhance the resort based on guest feedback. On the top floor of the forest resort, nearly 500 guests—both young and old—can now ascend to airy heights amidst dreamlike clouds and three themed experiential areas. During the five-week expansion of the upper floor, a Teenie Club and a 9-hole space-themed glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course have emerged. Providing unique family fun are a total of eight action-packed attractions within the newly built, colorful Forest Games Area. In the lovingly furnished Family Play Area, there’s now ample time for cozy bonding moments with views overlooking the Thuringian Forest.
Forest Games Area - Family Fun in new dimensions!
An extraordinary forest adventure awaits the whole family in the new Games Area at The Grand Green – Familux Resort. On the 4th floor, a magical space has emerged amidst towering trees, tiny roots, and a total of eight fun-guaranteed gaming devices. In addition to classic favorites like billiards, table tennis, and various foosball tables, kids can let loose at trendy stations such as Fox Ball, Valo Jump, Air Hockey, and Multi Ball.
Teenie Club - Up in Space!
Retreat, rev up, and hang out with friends – that’s exactly what’s now possible at the new Teenie Club. Up in Space is the theme, evident in the cozy reading nook as well as at the DJ booth with karaoke station. Teens can tinker together at the Gravitrax table. In collaboration with Ravensburger, we’ve created a space where teenagers can feel at ease and where they’ll happily continue family vacations with Mom and Dad for years to come.
Adventure Golf - Cosmic Mini Golf Adventure!
As you ascend towards the clouds in The Grand Green – Familux Resort’s elevator, you’re whisked away on a spaceship to the next adventure – a 9-hole Adventure Golf course. Upon arrival in space, exciting challenges await the whole family. Whether it’s loops and ramps, aliens or astronauts, each hole offers variety and guaranteed family fun. A special highlight and absolute eye-catcher is the blacklight version, allowing for mini golfing both in daylight and in the dark.
Family Play Arena - Play, joke, and snuggle Together!
The new Family Play Area puts valuable family time in the spotlight. In collaboration with Ravensburger, a space has been created for moms and dads with babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 years. First experiences on the climbing tower with ball pit, ample cuddle time on cozy daybeds, and enchanting play opportunities await our youngest guests in the light-filled family area with views over the Thuringian Forest.
