Planning a vacation with a toddler can be quite a challenge for parents: there’s so much to think about and countless items to pack. Our family-friendly hotel in Oberhof, Thuringia, is the perfect choice for you because we specialize in accommodating families with young children.
Family Hotel in the Thuringian Forest
Our pedagogically trained and experienced team in infant and child care will look after your little ray of sunshine starting from the 7th day of life! We also offer a wide range of baby equipment in case of an emergency. This ensures that your vacation with your little one goes smoothly and gives you the rest and relaxation you desire. The bathrooms in our suites and chalets feature a separate children’s sink, and all electrical outlets are equipped with (invisible) child safety covers. There are several changing stations throughout the hotel, stocked with diapers and wet wipes.
The Baby Club
Specially trained staff provide care for babies from 7 days old up to 3 years of age, daily from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. This service is included in our all-inclusive family hotel package and is not charged separately. Regular training for our staff at the Kinderhotels Academy ensures that our baby care services are of the highest standard and always up to date.

Childcare starting from the 7th day of life
Starting on the 7th day of life, newborns receive loving care, are fed and changed, and are helped to rest during age-appropriate nap times, all between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Daily Program for Development Support
The little ones are engaged in creative activities such as painting, crafts, sensory games, and introductory music and movement classes led by the professionally trained staff at our baby hotel.
Baby Wellness Packages
Water, warmth, and plenty of comfort: Baby swimming and our loving baby wellness programs are optional learning and relaxation experiences for the little ones (for an additional fee).
Our Cozy Baby Club
What makes our Baby Club special is that we lovingly and attentively care for your precious little one. Of course, we’ll go through a short adjustment period together with you so we can get to know each other. But after that, you should take some time for yourselves to relax and unwind. You’ve earned it! For our attentive caregivers, this makes their work easier and ensures a better overview of the little ones in their care when parents aren’t around. Rest assured that your little ray of sunshine is wonderfully cared for. And if you just can’t stand it any longer, grab your little darling and play with them in the mini-club or in one of our play areas.
